WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
Our style is a blend of creative photojournalism and portrait photography. Our aim is to artfully tell the story of your wedding day through photographs you can feel.
WHAT IS YOUR SHOOTING APPROACH?
Our goal is to be as inconspicuous as possible on your wedding day.  We feel to truly tell your wedding day story it’s best to approach it in a documentary style as it unfolds. We prefer natural, candid moments but will always throw in a few gently posed shots. Our couples appreciate a little direction here and there, but for the most part we try to create a comfortable space where the two of you can focus on each other and be in the moment. We will always ask your preference however and if you prefer a little more portrait and a little less candid we aim to please. Of course we always make time for formal family photos!
WILL YOU TRAVEL TO MY WEDDING?
Yes! we love to travel and are inspired by new locations. We are located in Portland Oregon but shoot regularly in Los Angeles, New Orleans, & San Francisco to name a few!
DO YOU DO SKYPE CONSULTATIONS?
We prefer face to face consultations, but if Skype is the best option then we do facilitate. Please contact us to set up a Skype session.
ON AVERAGE HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU SHOOT? HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET?
We shoot a thousand or more images during the course of an 8 hour wedding.  After they are edited you receive anywhere from 600 – 800 images.
DO YOU BRING BACKUP EQUIPMENT?
Always! in case of equipment malfunction or some other unknown, backup equipment is always close at hand the day of your wedding.
ARE YOU INSURED?
You betcha!
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS WILL BE AT MY WEDDING?
Our full packages include a second photographer. However, we do offer off-season, weekday, and elopement services that can be booked with only one photographer.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING?
We recommend booking your wedding about 1 year in advance especially for summer and fall dates (particularly those on Saturdays). These dates tend to book up quickly.
WILL SARAH BE THE MAIN PHOTOGRAPHER AT MY WEDDING?
Sarah is our main photographer and she photographs all Engagement Photo Sessions and Wedding Photo Sessions unless otherwise agreed upon before booking your wedding.
WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO VIEW MY WEDDING PHOTOS?
On average, photos will be ready to be viewed 2-4 weeks after your wedding. During high wedding season it could take a wee bit longer. We aren’t a point and shoot studio and we do all our processing in house to ensure quality and consistency.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE  MY WEDDING DAY IMAGES?

Short answer: Your very own personal high resolution online gallery
Long answer: All of your images are uploaded to a high resolution online gallery from which you can view and share them. You will actually be able to download all your high res images instantly!
Wait, it gets better! You can also share your gallery and/or individual images on your favorite social networks with the press of a button.
HOW DO WE ORDER PRINTS?
Your gallery allows your friends and family to order prints. It’s fast, easy and extremely affordable! Prints are available in 3 sizes:
4 x 6    $1 each
5 x 7    $2 each
8 x 10  $4 each
If you would like larger prints made, we encourage you to order them directly through us to ensure print quality. If you’re willing to gamble on the quality of your large prints, feel free to have them printed  yourself.
WILL I HAVE A FULL COPYRIGHT PRINT RELEASE?
Absolutely! We don’t believe in holding your wedding photos hostage and provide you with a full copyright release.
WE CAN’T AFFORD AN ALBUM RIGHT NOW, CAN WE ORDER ONE LATER?
We understand how expensive a wedding tends to be and although some of our packages do include an album, we have opted to offer “a la carte photography services” as well.
**Another way to approach purchasing an album, is to wait a year and surprise your spouse with a gorgeous custom designed wedding album on your 1 year anniversary!
